The Radio-Canada Production Department is responsible for monitoring the network and broadcasting all the programming. A Barco high definition rear projection wall ensures that the operators have access to accurate visual information at all times.

The iconic and renowned Studio 42, located at Maison Radio-Canada in Montreal, is responsible for producing some of the most celebrated television shows of its time.

Solotech provided all of the lighting, special effects and moving lights for the studio with equipment from some of the leading manufacturers in the field, including Arri, Vari-Lite, Claypaky and MA Lighting.

Solotech also supplied the audio solutions for Studio 42. Shure wireless microphone and screen systems, Meyer Sound and Clair Brothers speakers as well as Crown amplifiers were installed to provide impeccable in-studio sound.

Studios 43, 44, 45 and 47 are all furnished with Studer Vista 8 production and broadcast consoles. These four studios put on a wide variety of production types, with or without a studio audience. Studio 42, which broadcasts variety shows, also employs a Studer Vista 8 console.
