AMT- Much more than displays
When the « Agence métropolitaine de transport” in Laval, Québec had an idea to integrate an ensemble of different technologies at the Cartier and Montmorency bus stations, they called upon SOLOTECH.  

First, we installed a detection system by RFID, then a real-time data management system by Zebeline and LED displays by Dacktronics.  The result:  when the RFID system detects a bus, the arrival and departure schedule is updated in real-time and then instantly displayed inside and outside the bus station.

March 10, 2008—RFID Journal has announced the winners of its second annual RFID Journal Awards. The winners, selected by an independent panel of judges, are aircraft maker Airbus, for best RFID implementation; Montreal public transits authority Agence Métropolitaine de Transport, in the category of best use of RFID in a product or service; and floor-covering manufacturer Interface for most innovative use of RFID.

Solotech was systems integrators for the Agence Metroploitaine de Transport project.
