Since 1992, ADM has been responsible for the management, operation and development of Montréal’s Trudeau and Mirabel international airports. In 2000, ADM embarked upon an extensive modernization and expansion program at Trudeau, including new transborder and international jetties, and a new international arrivals complex featuring a Canada customs hall and baggage-claim room.
ADM mandated SOLOTECH for the integration of the new public communication system on this project. Over 7000 Bose speakers were installed; all controlled by an IED management system that covers publicly accessed zones, customs, and luggage areas, as well as multiple gates and lounges. SOLOTECH also integrated Barco LED rear projection video cubes for a public art project in the international baggage-claim room. We were thrilled to be a part of this vast program that was completed in 2006 on budget and on schedule.
