Canadian Olympic Committee Head Office

In 2018, Solotech Toronto was contracted to install audio visual systems for the Canadian Olympic Committee’s new head office in downtown Toronto.

Solotech supplied and installed new systems for the head office, including audio systems throughout, video conferencing for the large boardrooms and a video matrix system connected to a variety of LCD and projector displays, comprising large format, commercial grade displays in both landscape and portrait orientations.

There was also a video wall installed, consisting of 3 displays and designed for 24/7 operation, with attached digital signage units and IP-based control.

Digital processing for audio allows for the switching of either wireless microphones or presentation audio sources in the main town hall space with a zoned system of pendant speakers.

In the boardrooms, ceiling-mounted intelligent array microphones capture speech for video conferencing with audio playback from flush-mounted ceiling speakers.

The main video matrix system simultaneously routes multiple signals, including digital signage, local presentation inputs and on-air cable signals, to any number of installed displays.

Overall, the office and meeting spaces are agile, user-friendly and interactive thanks to cutting edge technology!
