Supporting the inimitable Véronic DiCaire

An Ontarian singer and impersonator, Véronic DiCaire is as versatile and talented as her resume is impressive. Winner of the Ontario Pop singing competition at only 17, performer in musicals (Grease and Chicago), writer/singer of two albums Véronic DiCaire, 2002 and Sans détour, 2005, selected as opening act for Céline Dion’s tours, X-Factor judge in France and Dancing with the Stars (France) competitor.

Solotech has been supporting and providing entertainment technology solutions to DiCaire’s tours for 10 years in Canada and in Europe where her popularity as singer and impersonator has exploded in recent years. There is good reason for that success, DiCaire has an impressive, eclectic repertoire: she can beautifully impersonate American, as well as international artists, such as Céline Dion, Cher, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, Dolly Parton, Tina Turner, Edith Piaf, Lara Fabian, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Madonna and many others.

Her Véronic DiCaire 3 and Showgirl 2019-2020 tours in Canada and Europe will include between 300 to 500 shows in touring venues with capacities of over 10,000 spectators.

Demanding yet perfectly executed concerts

Whether for her tours or one-off shows, Solotech provides DiCaire with audio, video, lighting and rigging services. Combining speed and precision, with the right technology solutions Solotech supports the singer-impersonator’s acting style with lighting and video projections perfectly adapted to the artist she is interpreting.

“Imitating multiple voices during a single concert requires the best material and teams of technicians possible”, said Bruno Lauzon, DiCaire’s Technical Director. “Véronic DiCaire’s talent and vocal control combined with Solotech’s expertise result in breathtaking performances, to the greatest delight of the audience.”
