How can I create my profile?

To submit your application, you must first create a profile (refer to Question 2). Please keep your login details for any future application.

How to apply at Solotech?

Click on Create or Update my Profile and select Are you a new user?

 

Enter your email address and password. Avoid using a password that is too simple or that contains personal information. It should be at least five characters long, including one letter and one number. Provide a secret question and answer in the event that you forget or need to change your password.

 

Please note that the first step of your profile (personal information) must be complete if you want to apply for positions, track your former applications, receive job alerts, etc.

How can I access my profile?

Click on Create or Update my Profile on our homepage and log in using your email and password.

What should I do if I forgot my password?

Click on Create or Update my Profile, select Forgot your password? and enter your email address. Then answer your secret question. Once completed, you will receive an email with instructions to modify your password.

How can I ensure that my application was submitted successfully?

You will receive an email confirmation upon receipt of your application. You can also review all your applications in View my Applications on our homepage. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please check your spam folder or contact us.

How can I receive Solotech’s job opportunities by email?

By subscribing to our Job Alerts, you will receive an email each time a new offer that corresponds to your criteria is published. To do so, simply follow these steps:

 

– Access your profile settings by clicking on Create or Update my Profile in the home menu;

 

– Fill out the fields in Step 2, Job Preferences: Job Alerts.

Please note: You must choose at least one interest and one city.

 

– Select I want to receive job alerts and confirm your changes in Step 4, Confirmation.

How can I modify my Job Alerts criteria?

Log in your account and access your profile settings to modify your criteria (e. g interest, city) or to stop receiving our job alerts.

Will the information that I’m submitting remain confidential?

Yes. Solotech is committed to protecting the confidential nature of all personal information and will only use it for hiring purposes, in accordance with our policies and procedures and labor standard regulations.

How can I withdraw my application for a specific position?

Consult the View my applications section on our homepage. Click on the trash icon, on the left, next to the position’s title, and follow the instructions.

How can I delete my profile?

 

You must notify us by email. In an email entitled “Remove my profile”, please provide your first name, last name, postal code, as well as the email address used to create your profile.

If I attach a resume, should I also complete the Education and Work Experience steps?

Yes, it is preferable to complete all steps, even if you attach a resume to your profile.

For how long are my profile and applications kept at Solotech?

Your profile and applications are kept for 3 years.

I already submitted my application and it’s not through the Career platform. Will this cause a problem?

No. The process will run its course. However, we still recommend creating a profile on our Career platform to facilitate communication.

What are the different steps of the selection process?

Reception of your resume

Once we have received your resume, we will process your application. If your profile meets the requirements of the position(s), a member of our talent acquisition team will contact you by email or phone. Please note that due to the high number of requests we receive, we only contact selected applicants.

 

Phone interview

We will contact selected applicants to schedule a timely moment for a phone interview.

 

In-person interview at Solotech

If your application is accepted following the phone interview, we will invite you to meet with us in person. The in-person interview is a good opportunity for you to discuss your motivations, experience, and career goals, and for us to answer any questions you may have.

 

Evaluations and tests

Depending on the position you applied for, you might be asked to complete evaluations or tests.

 

Follow-up with the finalist candidates

Following the in-person interview, you will be advised of the outcome of our recruitment process.

Do you offer internships to students?

Yes. Students can complete an internship at Solotech as part of their curriculum. The internship offers are posted on our Career platform.

Can I submit a spontaneous application?

Yes. You can do so through our Spontaneous application postings on our Career platform.

Can I submit my application in person, by fax or by email?

Yes. However, our talent acquisition team prioritizes applications received via our Career platform.

Do I need a valid work permit to be employed by Solotech?

If you do not have a permanent resident or citizenship status, in accordance with government requirements, you need to obtain a work permit prior to being hired. This process must be undertaken by the applicant.

Corporate Social Responsibility
