Montreal, December 20, 2018 – The President and CEO of Groupe Solotech, Mr. Martin Tremblay, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Daniel Méjean as Vice-President, Strategic Sourcing, effective January 14, 2019.
In this new position under the direction of Nicolas Lavoie, Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Méjean will actively contribute to the performance of the rapidly growing Sourcing Department as a key player in strategic planning, as well as long & short-term alliance building with our suppliers and partner.
Mr. Méjean holds an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) conjoint degree from the Université Paris-Dauphine and the Université du Québec à Montréal. He has over twenty years of experience in strategic sourcing management and direction in large-scale companies such as la Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, CAE and Ubisoft.
“As a leader with over twenty years of experience in strategic sourcing management and wide-ranging negotiations, whether in Canada or internationally, Daniel Méjean will be a great asset to support Solotech’s growth and global success”, said Mr. Tremblay.
