The 18th annual Parnelli Awards, one of the most prestigious celebrations of the live event industry, took place on January 25 at the Anaheim Hilton, near Los Angeles, California, as part of the NAMM convention (National Association of Music Merchants).
The Parnelli Awards honor industry pioneers, innovators and creative teams for designing exceptional tours, for technical achievements and for the amazing work of production professionals.
This year, Solotech was awarded “Video Production Company of the Year” for its contributions to Taylor Swift’s Reputation Stadium Tour. This award recognizes the spectacular work done by Show Director Baz Halpin, Production Designer Tamlyn Wright, and all of their collaborators. Several Solotech representatives were present at the event, among whom (from left to right on the picture): Lee Moro, Senior Project Director, Mickey Curbishley, President, Live Productions Division (U.S.A); Richard Lachance, Senior Vice-President of International Development and Paul Owen, Managing Director of our Nashville office.
As a reminder, Taylor Swift’s Reputation Stadium Tour is ranked among the 10 top-selling tours of 2018 noted by PLSN Magazine.
Renowned for its expertise in audiovisual and entertainment technologies, Solotech was also a Parnelli Award nominee as “Lighting Company of the Year” for its work with Taylor Swift.
