Le Diamant is a non-profit organization dedicated to hosting contemporary creations from around the world and showcasing original productions, premieres and high-profile events in an intimate setting. Attracting an international clientele, this multi-configuration venue nestled in the heart of Quebec City’s historic district serves as a premier showcase for Quebec and Canadian cultural excellence. Le Diamant is an important focal point which brings together audiences, artists and creators from all walks of life.
From April to September 2019, Solotech teams provided their expertise to Quebec City’s Le Diamant where they supplied and integrated state-of-the-art audio, lighting and dimming systems. Solotech handled the main d&b audiotechnik sound system in the broadcast room and creative studio, as well as the mobile audio equipment. A QSC Q-SYS CORE 510i Dante/AES3 audio processor was also configured and programmed for audio signal processing.
Additionally, Solotech’s experts produced sixty custom-built mounting plates for the lighting equipment and aluminum transport carts.
Interesting fact: The building has a unique layout and our technicians had to build and install a customized steel beam to ensure an optimal audio system setup. Thanks to their expertise, they rose to the challenge, and Le Diamant’s spectators can now enjoy stellar sound quality.
