Solotech are currently seeking an Asset Coordinator to join their busy asset management team. This position will be based in North West London. The Asset Coordination team are an important and integral part of live production, helping to provide a quality service to Solotech’s wide range of clients. The Asset Coordinator will help with the tracking of Assets within the UK and ensuring they are in the correct locations as required.
• Overseeing the Audio departments inventory.• Ensuring all technical equipment is on site ready for preparation by the date the warehouse team need to start the job.• Working with the Hire In & Hire Out teams ensuring all scan data is correct and the stock management system reflects true and accurate data.• Working with the Asset Manager to ensure all sub hire requirements are met, booked, and scheduled in for collection and return.• Acting as a centre point of contact for the Warehouse team and the Audio Co-ordinator regarding inter-company equipment moves.• Highlighting any equipment shortages to the Audio Co-ordinator and Asset Manager• To be the point of contact for the warehouse team regarding any equipment anomalies.• Ensuring the end of year stock check is completed as required and any lost equipment is reported to the Principal Asset Manager.• Keeping the stock file and product database up to date and correct.• Carry out any other related tasks, which are necessary during the scope of this role.• Ensuring all new inventory is barcoded correctly and all relevant data entered correctly in the stock file
• Excellent organisation, time management and planning skills• Previous experience in audio or video assets management and knowledge of the audio industry would be advantageous• Quality driven approach with the ability to follow strict guidelines, checklists, and instructions.• Attention to detail and accuracyExcellent written and verbal communication skills• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well independently in a fast-paced environment• Flexible team player, willing to ‘go the extra mile’ to get the job done
