Transport Manager - REDDITCH

Job Summary :

The Transport Manager will be based in our Redditch warehouse supporting with the logistics, preparation, maintenance and delivery of audio systems for Solotech busy hire department.

Responsibilities :

  • •Managing all aspects of the company’s Operator License.
  • •Dealing with legal compliance, tachograph rules and drivers’ infringements.
  • •Taking appropriate action against any infringements
  • •Ensuring transport operations meet all relevant transport and health and safety legislation.
  • •Ensuring all aspects of fleet maintenance and scheduling are being met by working closely with our on-site workshop ·
  • •Managing External Transport and third-party Contracts
  • •Equipment Movements across the UK
  • •Manage schedules and allocation
  • •Managing Shipping Processes
  • •Co-Ordinating Inbound Fright and negotiate and booking of outbound freight Compile, process, and complete relevant documentation

Your profile :

  • •Strong transportation experience
  • •Experiencing of managing external transport and third party contracts
  • •Understanding of shipping processes
  • •Experience in inbound and outbound fright
