This year, for the first time ever, the House was open to the public, so they could encourage the athletes and watch them compete.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-heading wp-block\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Audio, video and lighting solutions<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-paragraph wp-block\">\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">Two technicians and one project manager from Solotech were onsite at the Canada Olympic House for the duration of the 2018 Winter Olympics. They handled the planning, setup and technical support of the video system (26 HD displays and a giant 2.9 mm LED screen) controlled by a Blackmagic Design console with a matrix system, providing the feed to each screen.
