{"id":36759,"date":"2018-06-21T13:46:00","date_gmt":"2018-06-21T17:46:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.solotech.com\/?post_type=achievement&#038;p=36759"},"modified":"2022-10-26T12:14:07","modified_gmt":"2022-10-26T16:14:07","slug":"national-arts-centre","status":"publish","type":"achievement","link":"https:\/\/www.solotech.com\/our-work\/national-arts-centre\/","title":{"rendered":"National Arts Centre"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wp-block-heading wp-block\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Multimedia system integration for the National Arts Centre (NAC)<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-paragraph wp-block\">\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">As part of the National Arts Centre\u2019s $225 million Production Renewal and Architectural Rejuvenation Project, Solotech was selected to provide audio, video, and communications equipment and installation services for the multimedia systems in three of the Centre\u2019s live performance venues.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-heading wp-block\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A symphony of technologies<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-3 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\"><div class=\"wp-block-paragraph wp-block\">\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">Most of the production equipment in the NAC dated back to the venue\u2019s opening in 1969. The scope of work for Solotech on the rejuvenation project included upgrading the Centre\u2019s acoustics, as well as its electrical and mechanical systems. To ensure the NAC meets the highest international standards for performance, the Southam Hall (2,065 seats), Babs Asper Theatre (897 seats) and Azrieli Studio (250-300 seats) are now equipped with state-of-the-art audio, video and communication systems.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-paragraph wp-block\">\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">Each performance facility includes:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-list wp-block\">\n<ul><li>Live Performance Audio System<\/li><li>Audio Distribution System<\/li><li>Live Performance Video System<\/li><li>Video Distribution System<\/li><li>Digital Communication System<\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"National Arts Centre - Audio &amp; Video Systems Integration\" width=\"625\" height=\"352\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/pl8CCZrOj0M?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-paragraph wp-block\">\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\"><em>\u201cIt\u2019s been a great experience having Solotech work alongside the National Arts Centre.
