{"id":37608,"date":"2014-07-05T10:16:00","date_gmt":"2014-07-05T14:16:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.solotech.com\/?post_type=achievement&#038;p=37608"},"modified":"2022-10-25T09:31:57","modified_gmt":"2022-10-25T13:31:57","slug":"montreals-olympic-stadium","status":"publish","type":"achievement","link":"https:\/\/www.solotech.com\/our-work\/montreals-olympic-stadium\/","title":{"rendered":"Montreal\u2019s Olympic Stadium"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wp-block-heading wp-block\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">One of Canada\u2019s largest high-resolution screens!<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-paragraph wp-block\">\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">To further meet the exacting technological demands of their customers, Olympic Park\u2019s management retained Solotech\u2019s services after a public bid, as the prime contractor to equip the stadium with one of the largest high-resolution screens in the country!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-paragraph wp-block\">\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">The two original screens that had been installed in 1992 were replaced by a single LED surface measuring 3,380 square feet. In addition to the scoreboard, Solotech supplied and installed an electrical distribution system, a fiber optic video distribution system, image processors and a sports scoring system.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-paragraph wp-block\">\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\"><em>\u201cIt was a great challenge to integrate this new screen into an existing structure within tight deadlines while ensuring the safety of those working at a height,\u201d<\/em> explained Alexandre Pecqueux, the Solotech project manager. The deliverables were met mainly through preventive evaluation of the equipment: <em>\u201cSolotech has the advantage of having a very large shop and this enabled us to do the preparation in our offices, thus limiting risks and interventions on the installation site,\u201d<\/em> continued Pecqueux.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-paragraph wp-block\">\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">As for Maurice Landry, Vice-President of Construction and Maintenance at the Olympic Park, he was delighted with the result: <em>\u201cWe\u2019re satisfied with the work done by Solotech. All of the work was carried out according to our quality requirements and deadlines.
