Making high-tech spaces more human

Office spaces in the corporate world can often feel ‘cookie-cutter’ by design. It takes a company dedicated to its unique corporate values to step out of the mold. Software company GSoft did just that for its Montreal headquarters, with an inspiring architectural revamp and audiovisual transformation spearheaded by Solotech.

Inherently curious about technology and innovative in spirit, GSoft was drawn to Solotech’s audiovisual expertise and vision to outfit its conference rooms and common spaces. The objective was to make collaboration seamless and the on-site AV experience exciting and leading-edge. The Solotech team worked closely with architects, engineers and contractors to draw up AV plans that met and exceeded client needs.

Fun meets functional

Town Hall meetings are an important part of the GSoft culture, that’s why a significant part of the AV budget was dedicated to the ‘GCafe’ common space where they take place. Solotech studied architectural drawings to devise an AV system that included an extra-large LED display and a state-of-the-art BOSE sound system.

For GSoft employees in collaboration mode, the Solotech team outfitted conference rooms and meetings spaces with an automated room scheduling system. Motion sensors were installed to signal a room availability on booking panels outside each room. What’s more, each meeting room, whether for 2 or 20 employees, was optimized for videoconferencing with colleagues and clients both near and far.

Dedicated to every detail

A Solotech supervisor was on-site each day to ensure that no AV detail was overlooked. To help ensure exceptional technological standards, the Solotech team was involved in the network installation and AV-dedicated LAN configuration. This turnkey solution is an example of how Solotech brings a unique corporate vision to life with its audiovisual expertise.
