Régie de Radio-Canada

Radio-Canada

The Radio-Canada production department is responsible for the monitoring of the network and for broadcast of all of the programming. A Barco high definition rear projection wall ensures that the operators have access to accurate visual information available at all times.

The mythical and renowned Studio 42, located at Maison Radio-Canada in Montreal, is responsible for producing some of the most celebrated television shows of its time. SOLOTECH provided all of the lighting special effects and moving lights for the studio with equipment from some of the most prominent manufacturers in the field, such as Vari Lite, LSI Saco and GranMA.

Studios 43, 44, 45 and 47 are all furnished with Vista 8 production and broadcasting consoles. These four studios allow for the production of a wide variety of productions types, with or without a studio audience. Studio 42, which broadcasts variety shows, also employs a Studer Vista 8 console.
