Our teams were thrilled to work on this daring project: one of the most technically advanced and complicated tours on the planet, as we provided lighting, video, sound and rigging.
The world tour that promoted Kylie’s 11th studio album Aphrodite Les Folies visited Europe, Asia, North America, Australia and Africa. The show paid homage to Greek mythology and culture and took some inspiration from the musical Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark.
At that time, the stage was proclaimed to be the most extravagant with several movable parts including elevators, hundreds of light sources, a temple wall, not to mention the many water jets that were part of the production.
The tour was in the 21st position in the 2011 annual Billboard Top 25 Tours as well as in Pollstar’s Top 25 Worldwide Tours.
